40-Hour Didactic SANE Training

Interact real time with your instructors in this hybrid (online and in-person), live-taught, interactive training. This program, covering the role of Adult & Adolescent SANE/SAFE services, is presented by a distinctly qualified multi-disciplinary faculty with demonstrated expertise in sexual assault victimization and the criminal justice system.

Upcoming Training

 This didactic SANE training is held online via Zoom for 3 consecutive days and is also carried out the following week for 2 consecutive days in-person. Earn 40 continuing education nursing contact hours upon successful completion of the course. 

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Georgia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Training Dates & Times

September 23 – 25, 2024 (Days 1 – 3):  9 AM–6 PM ET 

September 30 – October 1, 2024 (Days 4 & 5):  9AM-6PM ET 


Days 1 – 3: Virtual/Online, Live- taught, Interactive Classroom (via Zoom) 

Days 4 – 5: In-person at a training facility in Duluth, GA (Gwinnett County)

To be eligible to participate, you are also required to submit the following:

  • A copy of your current state professional license (RN, NP, PA, MD, DO)
  • An enlarged copy of your driver’s license/ID
