Get to Know Our Emcee: Dr. Kiana Dancie
Dr. Kiana Dancie is a celebrated comedian, transformational speaker, best-selling author, and emotional intelligence coach. She is the founder of Baggage Claim Worldwide™ and creator of Laugh Therapy™, initiatives designed to help high-performing professionals release emotional baggage, reset their mindset, and realign with purpose. A Harvard-certified mental health advocate and four-time Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Dr. Dancie is known for her bold storytelling, healing humor, and undeniable stage presence.
She has spoken at the World Literacy Summit at Oxford University on the power of Laugh Therapy, and is a featured TEDx and Forbes
Business Council speaker. As a former nationally syndicated talk show host of Sister Circle Live, she continues to use media, advocacy, and humor to elevate conversations around emotional wellness, mental health equity, and survivor-centered healing. She has shared stages with comedy legends including Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart, and Katt Williams.
A woman of deep faith, Dr. Dancie infuses every platform with purpose, hope, and the belief that healing is possible for all. Based in Georgia, she also leads the nonprofit B.A.G.S. (Becoming A Guiltless Survivor), dedicated to connecting women with mental health experts to help them heal from emotional, physical, and psychological burdens.
As the emcee for Mosaic Masterpieces—Mosaic Georgia’s 6th Annual Art Auction & Happy Hour—Dr. Dancie brings her signature blend of wit, wisdom, and compassion to an evening that celebrates art, advocacy, and the unshakable resilience of survivors.
