Why I Give My Time:

Mosaic Georgia is an incredibly dynamic organization with a committed staff and leadership team who live the organizational mission every day. Their passion for taking action and guiding change for the safety, health and justice of children and adults impacted by sexual violence inspired me to become involved in the organization and lend my skills to expanding the reach of these vital services in the Gwinnett County communities Mosaic serves.

Bio:

Cathy has been working in healthcare/medical practice administration since 1989 and founded Guidian Healthcare Consulting in 2004 to provide strategic business development services to organizations that provide primary care medical homes to under-resourced communities around the country. She began her career at Columbia University/NYS Psychiatric Institute working in facility development, grants management, and physician practice management and spent several years with Novant Health in North Carolina as a Regional Director for Physician services. She earned an MBA in Health Systems Administration and now works to expand high quality, affordable access to care by consulting with clients including community health centers, health departments, community action boards/committees and hospitals, among others on shaping strategic direction, evaluating health delivery systems, and developing operational plans to improve efficiencies and expand system capacity. Cathy is a resident of Suwanee.
